Here's How Pizza Can Be Incredibly Romantic on Valentine's Day!

Looking for something different to do this Valentine's Day? Not really feeling going out but want to Netflix and Pizza at home with your sweetie? Walt's can help you out! Grab one of our cheese take and bake pizzas home with you and add some Valentine's flare with these unique pizza toppings your other half will love!
1. Mac n Cheesey Pizza
What You'll Need: 
1 Walt's Take n Bake cheese pizza 
1 Mac n Cheese cup (any brand)
1/4 cup shredded cheese (try a pizza blend or Italian blend)
1 tsp bacon crumbles (optional)
pinch of parmesan and Italian spice blend for garnish
What You'll Do: 
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Prepare the macaroni and cheese according to package directions.
Spread mac and cheese over the crust.
Top with extra cheese, parmesan, Italian Spice blend and optional bacon crumbles.
Bake according to the instructions on our pizza.
Serve and Enjoy!
2. Chicken Cordon Bleu Pizza
What You'll Need:
1 Walt's Take and Bake cheese pizza (light sauce)
½ cup Alfredo sauce
1 cup cooked chicken, cubed
6 or so slices of thinly sliced ham
½ cup crumbled bacon
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Parsley for garnish, if desired
What You'll Do: 
Add Alfredo sauce.
Top the pizza with cooked chicken, ham, bacon and both cheeses.
Bake according to the instructions on our pizza.
Watch it close at the end of the baking time to prevent the cheese from browning too much.

3. Pear, Prosciutto, and Gorgonzola Pizza

What You'll Need:
1 Walt's Take n Bake cheese pizza (no sauce)
1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
1/4 t. kosher salt
1 t. extra virgin olive oil
Pinch of salt and pepper
1 t. fresh thyme
1 pear thinly sliced
1/2 cup smoked gouda, shredded
1/2 cup part skim mozzarella, shredded
1/4 cup gorgonzola, crumbled
3 slices of prosciutto, rolled up and sliced thinly
What You'll Do: 
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Generously spray a medium sized skillet with cooking spray and heat it over medium high heat.
Add the sliced onion and cook the onion until it softens and turns golden brown (about 10 minutes).
Sprinkle on salt, pepper, and the fresh thyme to pizza.
Sprinkle the shredded cheeses and gorgonzola crumbles all over the pizza.
Finish the pizza off by placing the slices of pear, prosciutto, and caramelized onions evenly over the top of the pizza.
Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes or until it is bubbly and golden.
Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
4. Pesto Pizza with Fresh Tomatoes and Mozzarella
What You'll Need:
1 Walt's Take n Bake cheese pizza (light sauce)
1 jar green pesto
½ pound small or cherry tomatoes
2 cups fontina or provolone cheese, grated
8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
red pepper flakes
basil leaves for garnish
What You'll Do:
Lightly spread the pesto sauce on the pizza leaving a 1-inch border, then sprinkle with shredded cheese and 3 slices of the fresh mozzarella. 
Top with slices of tomatoes and extra shredded parmesan if desired.
Bake the pizza accroding to Walt's directions.
When baked, cut into slices and serve immediately. 
Top with more pesto, fresh basil leaves and crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
5. Shrimp Scampi Pizza
What You'll Need:
1 Walt's Take n Bake cheese pizza (no sauce)
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
3 Large cloves fresh garlic (minced)
1/4 cup white wine
1 Lemon zest and juice
1 Pound fresh shrimp (16 count) (rinsed, peeled, deveined)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 teaspoons Italian seasoning
What You'll Do:
In a large skillet, melt butter and oil over medium-low heat.
Add the garlic and lemon zest, cook for one minute.
Add the wine and lemon juice, simmer for 2 minutes.
Add shrimp and cook only until pink. Remove from pan and set aside.
Top Walt's pizza with shrimp, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Slide pizza into oven and bake according to directions, until cheese is bubbly.
Serve with red hot pepper flakes.
